Teaser Tuesday - The Hidden Child

teaser tuesday
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I finally finished The Casual Vacancy this weekend and moved on to something from my pile...so, my teaser is:

The cutlery clinked against their plates as they ate. All three of them tried not to look at the empty chair at the dining room table, but they couldn't help themselves.

The Hidden Child, Camilla Läckberg, page 87

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT
at Should Be Reading with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your 2 ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

  3. Hey Shannon! Thanks a bunch for stopping by my Teaser Tuesday and telling me about your love for Harry Potter! And in answer to your question, I've seen the films (a while ago!) apart from Deathly Hallows part 1&2.

Anyways.. AWESOME teaser, it's so intriguing. (Who's missing??!) What type of book is this? Historical? YA?

    1. Hi Sadie,

I find most of Camilla Läckberg's books intriguing...she's awesome. She's a Swedish crime/thriller writer, similar in style/genre to Stieg Larrson.

  4. Great teaser, thanks for sharing this! I read the first book in this series and it kept my attention, I hope to get around to the rest of the books later on...

Am super late at getting back to comments but thanks for dropping by my blog/TT last week!
